Why do I charge what I charge? When a client reaches out for pricing or information, most of the time they are asking because they want to know the cost. What will this cost me? I know this because I do and have done the same thing. Please remember that when you reach out to a photographer about their pricing and information.. that it's more than just showing up and taking some good pictures. The cost of a regular session compared to wedding photography is obviously way different.. but we are taking into consideration a lot of similar things. Not only do most of us aim to keep our prices competitive but there is:
- our time spent consulting, communicating and preparing
- the purchase of storage for your images and gallery
- keeping our equipment updated and ready
- day of travel - gas + vehicle wear and tear
- the actual photography coverage
- time spent culling, editing, perfecting and uploading your images
Actual coverage vs the amount of time that actually goes into your session or wedding photography is doubled/tripled. Please just remember we are human too : )
Invest in the important moments of your life. Preserve these moments with images that will last you for years to come. We truly never know what tomorrow brings. Hard times, the loss of a loved one, our kids suddenly all grown up! Hang these moments, gift them.
NOTE: Galleries are typically returned within about 4-6 weeks and about 6-8 during busier season. You will receive an online gallery with the rights to your images where you are free to download and print them as desired.

Lifestyle sessions begin around $200. I do offer a variety a packages to choose from with a goal to find something that will meet your needs and fit your budget. This is the same for Wedding Photography.

How do I book you? Please reach out to me through my home page. I would love to hear from you and answer any questions.
Do I have to purchase my photos through your website? No. You will receive an online gallery where you and family are free to download and print your own photos. You buying photos through my website does support me tho : )
Do I return photos in RAW? I do NOT. As stated above, my photos are edited in my specific style. The style that you saw and most likely hired me for. Occasional lighting situations and angles are not the same throughout the day. I work hard at making sure ALL of your photos work well together.
What if the weather is bad? If it rains, we can make the best of it or reschedule. ***If you want a warm, light and airy look I'm going to suggest rescheduling most likely. Rescheduling and cancellations must work with the photographer.
What if I don't like my photos? Can I get my money back? If you have received quality photos and the minimal amount of photos for the session/event booked, there will be no refund. GJP works really hard to make sure to follow through with what is expected out of a session/ event. With any event of refund, there will be no refund larger than the amount paid by the client.
